A bit about me

Hi I'm Lauren! I'm based in New York, and I've worked as a digital health investor at 7wire Ventures, a healthcare investment banker at Goldman Sachs, and an early employee at Homeward Health, a value-based care startup.

At 7wire, I evaluated hundreds of digital health companies, gaining a clear understanding of what investors look for when deciding to invest. I also served as a board observer for multiple portfolio companies, so I understand what actually matters to investors once they're on your cap table.

Before that, I worked at Goldman Sachs advising on nearly $25B in healthcare M&A transactions, and earlier was part of the founding team at Homeward Health, supporting the company's launch and early growth.

Now I work with early-stage healthcare startups that need to move fast. Whether it's building a model at midnight or making 100 cold calls to sign new customers, I'm here to help.

What does "fractional" mean?

I work with you on a part-time basis—typically 5-15 hours per week but flexible depending on what you need. You get dedicated, consistent support without the commitment or cost of a full-time hire.

What stage companies do you work with?

I focus on pre-seed through Series A health tech companies. You're typically past the idea stage, have some early traction, and need help scaling or preparing for your next fundraise.

How do engagements typically work?

Every engagement is customized to your needs. Some startups need intensive support during a fundraise, others want ongoing strategic guidance. We'll start with a conversation about your biggest challenges and design an engagement that makes sense.

Do you work remotely or in-person?

Both! I'm based in NYC and happy to meet in person if you're local. I also work remotely with startups across the country.
